Aspects of a Changing Landscape
Around the country the landscape evolves with the changing geological and human influences. The Surrey landscape has its vistas of open rolling farmland, large ancient woods and often tranquil paths. The treasured Oak, lime and yew trees that have known by many generations. In North Devon the rugged coast gives way to wild moorland as you move inland and red soil fields bordered by meandering hedges. Occasionally these ancient hedges have been allowed to grow into rows of beeches, field maples, sycamores, alders and many other types of tree.
