Tim Saunders is an artist who draws from life (literally and metaphorically) but also uses imagination to explore visual expression.
He takes inspiration from the landscape around his home in Devon, England and from his travels in the UK and Europe.
The landscape of the cafe or bar is another theme he explores, with the human animal in its natural habitat.
The pure visual expression of the abstract painting is an important side to his art and many of his paintings go beyond the representational.
